Jake has been working on the water for almost 20 years.  He started his career as a young youth sailing coach showing young boaters their way around the waters of Southern California.  Growing into the head racing coach at his local yacht club, some of his sailors went on to become national champions, college champions, and many are still in the marine industry today.  Jake moved from coaching to developing as a yachting professional working on grand prix sailboats, working in the sail loft, and logging as many miles as possible with local days and coastal passages.  His constant drive to learn more brought him to crewing on superyachts in the Caribbean and Atlantic where he built on his captains and engineering licenses.  Today your can find Jake in the waters of the Puget Sound and racing offshore on he West Coast.
